One number decides it
A licence is per company, per year, and it is gated on the element count. Relationships, views, data points, cascades, diagrams and pages are free and uncounted, because the element count is the only number an architect can predict and explain to whoever signs the invoice.
No subscription and no activation server. The licence is a signed file the product reads from your own repository, so nothing you run ever calls us.

Upgrading keeps your renewal date. You pay the difference for the time you have left, so your year still ends on the day it was always going to end. Prices exclude VAT; companies elsewhere in the EU with a valid VAT number are reverse charged.
